Weird week, and the writing is starting to show it. I spent some time in the Briar Patch yesterday and, while there, went a little bit ham writing out a happy birthday honk to/for my oldest niece.
That said, I have been watching a lot of movie trailers lately.
Back in the late 1990s, I loved a website called Dark Horizons and was email chummy with its owner/founder, Garth Franklin. (Dark Horizons still exists by the way.) Later on I used to check the Quicktime trailers religiously. The TL;DR is that I like movie trailers but also the experience of seeking out, finding, and watching trailers online was part of what I used the internet for in those early days before torrenting, social media, and streaming platforms. As such, I've included some trailers in the #aaa section.
#Also also also:

Josh Johnson was back at the desk for tonight's Daily Show, which had two really good bits back to back. First was Johnson going in on some bizarre Dr. Oz shit. Second was Johnson sharing yet another WTF RFK story.

The trailer for The Furious blew my mind. It's just breathtaking cinematic ultraviolence.
#Also:

Apropos of nothing my partner started talking about "that Tilda Swinton musical about the end of the world" the other day, which reminded me that we'd forgotten to watch The End when we meant to (sometime in the winter). If you have seen it, don't text me any spoilies. If you haven't, maybe you would like to watch the trailer as I just did, again.
